A stunning hand forged san mai chef knife . The core is 60 layers of damascus (1084/15n20) carbon steel then a layer of nickel, then stainless steel as a cladding. . San mai is a Japanese sword making technique that allows for a hard steel core that stays sharp and the softer jacket either side allowing for some flexibility.

The handle is made from ebony with stainless steel pins

Blade length is 110 mm (about 4 1/2 inches ) overall length is 220 mm .
