A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang tea tree timber handle with copper pins.

The blade is 150mm (5 3/4 inches) long and 36mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 285mm , 2.6 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip. The handle is 140mm long 20mm wide and 21mm deep Weight is 120gm. and slightly handle heavu balance but feels nice in the hand

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.

All knives come with complementary tin of DBK Knife Wax , a blend of and food grade paraffin oil and pure bees wax , to help keep the handle and steel in good condition.
