A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang black bean timber handle with stainless steel pins

The blade is 205 mm ( 8 inches) long and 49 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 330 mm , nice balance 2.5 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , Handle is 130mm long, 20mm wide 24mm deep about 165 gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.

All knives come with complementary tin of DBK Knife Wax , a blend of and food grade paraffin oil and pure bees wax , to help keep the handle and steel in good condition.
