A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang jarrah timber handle with copper pins

The blade is 145 mm ( 5 3/4 inches) long and 36 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 263 mm , 2.4 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 123 gm., slightly handle heavy but feels nice in the hand

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
