A unique hand forged santoku style chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a hidden tang blackbutt and gidgee timber handle with stainless steel and G10 spacers

The blade is 150 mm (almost 6 inches) long and 48 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 305 mm , nice balance 2.8 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 145 gm. Handle is 140mm long, 20 mm wide, 27mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
