A hand forged Damascus steel chef knife . The Damascus is 100 layers of 1075 and 15n20 . The handle is made from ringed gidgee timber with brass pins
The blade length is 185 mm (7 1/4 inches) long 42 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 315 mm , 2.5 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1mm near the tip , about 180 gm and a nice balance.
