The Japanese inspired hidden tang handle is made from blackbutt timber with a gidgee bolster with stainless steel and G10 spacers
Nakiri knives are a Japanese style of knife used to prepare vegetables.
The blade has a concave S -Grind to help with food release. Being such a thin blade its designed for up and down cutting of softer materials so please go easy with sideways pressure such as may occur when breaking open a pumpkin.
Blade length is 115 mm (4 1/2 inches) and its 50mm deep at the heel. overall length is 260 mm . the spine is 3.6 mm wide near the handle tapering to about 2.5mm for most of the spine .Handle is 125mm long, 21mm wide, 26mm tall. Weight is about 153gm nice balance.
