A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang gidgee timber handle with stainless steel pins

The blade is 150mm ( 6 inches) long and 48 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 280 mm , nice balance 3.4 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to1 mm near the tip , about 190 gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
