A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a hidden tang blackbutt timber handle with a gidgee bolster with stainless steel and G10 spacers

The blade is 180 mm ( 7 inches) long and 48 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 320 mm , nice balance 3.3 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering quickly down to under 1 mm near the tip , about 155 gm. Handle is 130mm long, 21 mm wide, 26mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
