A unique hand forged santoku style chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with no oval hidden tang blackbutt and bulloake timber handle with copper and G10 spacers

The blade is 160mm ( 6 1/4 inches) long and 52 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 305 mm , nice balance 3.3 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , Handle is 135mm long, 21mm wide 27mm deep about 180gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
