A unique hand forged santoku style chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a octagonal hidden tang blackbutt and gidgee timber handle with stainless steel and G10 spacers

The blade is 150mm ( 6 inches) long and 50 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 295 mm , nice balance 3.4 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , Handle is 135mm long, 20mm wide 26mm deep about 157gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
