A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a hidden tang blackbutt and bulloak timber handle with stainless steel and G10 spacers

The blade is 170 mm ( 6 ½ inches) long and 46 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 315 mm , nice balance 3 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 152 gm. Handle is 135mm long, 20 mm wide, 26mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
